Maulévrier
Maulévrier is a commune with 3242 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011 ) in the department of Maine -et -Loire in the Pays de la Loire. It belongs to Arrondissement Cholet Cholet and Canton -2. The town lies on the banks of the river Moine.
History
The name comes from the Latin malum Maulévrier Leporarium, resulting in Malus Malus Leporium and Levrarius; in any case, a place that is unhealthy for rabbits.
