Maureen Anderman

Maureen Anderman ( born October 26, 1946 in Detroit, Michigan ) is an American actress.

Life

Anderman had her debut on Broadway in 1970 as Bianca in William Shakespeare's Othello. Since then she has starred in numerous productions on Broadway, including productions of Hamlet and Macbeth and Edward Albee's Who 's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? For her performances, she was in 1972 awarded the Theatre World Award, also she was nominated in subsequent years for the Tony Award and twice for the Drama Desk Award. She also appeared in several off-Broadway productions.

In film and television, she, however, was rarely seen. In addition to guest roles in television series like Kojak - Kojak, St. Elsewhere and Spenser she appeared between 1985 and 1989 in a recurring guest role as Pete O'Phelan in the series The Equalizer on.
