Maurice Colclough

Maurice Colclough ( born September 2, 1953 in Oxford, † 27 January 2006) was an English rugby union player.

Its premiere in rugby celebrated Colclough at 15-0 win between England and Scotland in 1978. He played 1978-1986 for Sussex and Lancashire, as well as for East Grinstead, Wasps and Swansea. He celebrated his biggest success in 1980 at the Grand Slam victory for the English over Scotland. England won the first time after 1957, the Five Nations and won the title again in 1991.

Colclough died of a brain tumor, leaving behind his wife and five children.
