Maurice Saatchi, Baron Saatchi

Maurice Saatchi, Baron Saatchi ( born June 21, 1946 in Baghdad, Iraq ) is an Iraqi- British businessman of Jewish origin. He was with his brother Charles Saatchi founders of today's international advertising agency Saatchi & Saatchi, which they left together in 1995 to found M & C Saatchi. Also, this agency operates worldwide today.

Life

Besides his work at M & C Saatchi Maurice Saatchi is also chairman of the company Finsbury Foods and rector of the London School of Economics and Political Science, where he graduated.

Saatchi's fortune is estimated at 132 million British pounds. From 1984 until her death in 2011, he was married to the Irish novelist Josephine Hart, with whom he has a son. He was raised as Baron Saatchi, of Staplefield in the County of West Sussex in the peerage for life (life peer ) 1996.

Between 2003 and 2005, he was co-chairman Liam Fox ( Chairman ) of the Conservative Party.
