Mauritius Davis Cup team

The Mauritian Davis Cup team is the national team of Mauritius tennis, which represents the island country in the Davis Cup.

History

Mauritius took part in the 2000 Davis Cup for the first time. The team managed the first year the rise of the Europe / Africa Zone Group IV in group III, and reached the second year, 2001, when fifth- placed team in Group III their best result. However, 2002 was the re- descent into group IV, to Mauritius succeeded in 2006, the renewed rise in group III. The following year (2007) was also the so far last year in which Mauritius dispatched a team to the competition.

The most successful player was previously Kamil Patel with 18 wins and 11 defeats. He is also simultaneously record player with 18 appearances in four years.
