Maurizio Melina

He began his football career in the junior department of FC Red Cross. His talent was recognized by FC Luzern early on, which piloted the young players in his junior section. Melina debuted in 1992 as a midfielder in the first team that was playing in the National League B. In the following three seasons, he has accumulated 21 appearances in the National League A before moving to the 1996/ 97 on the neighboring SC Kriens.

In Kriens arrived, he developed after two years of acclimation to the most prolific strikers in the National League B. Between 1998 and 2002 he was allowed to receive four times in a row the title of the scorer.

A short trip to FC Sion, which was marked by injuries, followed in 2004 by the rapid return to SC Kriens, where he was able to build not quite to his old goalscoring despite important results.
