Max Huwyler

Max Huwyler (December 6, 1931 in train ) is a Swiss author.

Life

Max Huwyler was a secondary school teacher in the Canton of Zurich. He co-authored with the Thalwiler secondary school teacher Walter Flückiger language teaching materials used in the secondary world of words in three volumes, which was published in several editions from 1983. His works are beyond texts for children, pieces for the school stage, radio plays, poems and children's books. At readings Huwyler also collaborates with musicians. He also translated pieces by Elias Canetti and Günter Grass in Swiss German.

Max Huwyler was awarded, among others, in 1993 the Swiss Youth Book Prize, 1996, the price of the Swiss Schiller Foundation and the recognition rate of the Canton train, 2004, the Central Swiss Media Prize of the Swiss Radio DRS and the Zonser Hörspielpreis.
