Max Records

Maxwell " Max" Records ( born June 18, 1997) is an American actor.

Life

Records first played a small supporting role in a video of the indie rock band Death Cab for Cutie. He is best known in the role of Max in the film adaptation of the book of the same name Where the Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak. For this role he won a 2010 Young Artist Award for Best Actor in a Motion Picture and was nominated for the Saturn Award for Best Young Actor. He took a further role in the adventure comedy The Brothers Bloom.

His parents are Jenny Fleenor, a librarian, and Shawn Records, a photographer and teacher at several schools in Portland. Shawn published in 2009 the photo book "Owner Of This World ", which the shooting on film Where the Wild Things Are, in his view, as the father of Max, documented. Max lives with his parents and his little brother Sam in North Portland, where he attended a public school. He is a vegetarian by conviction, so he led the protest even at the age of eight years for vegetarian options in the school canteen.
