Maxx was a German - Swedish Euro Dance duo. It had its greatest success with the two dance-floor hits Get- A-Way and No More in 1993 and 1994, which were also successful internationally. From the Get- A-Way more than 400,000 units have been sold in Germany, so that the single reached gold status. In Europe, more than 1.1 million units have been sold. It was followed by other publications, however, with which the group was unable to match the previous successes.

The duo consisted of singer Linda Meek and Gary Bokö, contributed the Rapp Arts at Raggamuffin style. Maxx were produced by David Brunner aka The Hitman and Jürgen Wind aka The Movement, the group founded in 1993. The two founders wrote all the lyrics of the band with Gary Bokö. The band name Maxx is an abbreviation for maximum ecstasy ( maximum ecstasy ).
