Maya Sar

Maya Sar (born 12 July 1981 in Tuzla; actually Maja Sarihodžić ), also MayaSar, is a Bosnian singer and songwriter. She represented her native country at the Euro Vision Song Contest 2012 in Baku.

Biography

Maya Sar attended the Music Academy in Sarajevo, where she graduated in piano playing. The following year she appeared as a background singer in appearance and has collaborated with artists such as Tony Cetinski, Jacques Houdek, Emina Jahović, Hanka Paldum or Igor Vukojević. 2004 supported Sar in Backing Vocal their compatriot Deen, who finished ninth place with the English-language title In the Disco in the final of the Euro Vision Song Contest (ESC ) in Istanbul. Several years Sar belonged to the band of Dino Merlin. In 2011 she acted as piano player and singer Merlin's English - Bosnian song Love in Rewind.
