Mayotte national football team

The national football team is the football team of Mayotte island Mayotte, which lies off the coast of East Africa. As a French territory the Football Association Founded in 1979, is a regional subdivision of the French, but not a member of the World or the continental federation (CAF ).

Mayotte completed in its history so far only a few games. The games took place exclusively against the neighboring countries and areas Madagascar, Mauritius, Seychelles and Reunion. In addition, the national team participated in the discharged since 2008 Coupe de l' Outre- Mer, the competition for national teams from France's overseas territories. The best-known national player of the country is Toifilou Maoulida.
