Mayta Cápac

Mayta Capac, according to Peruvian Quechua Mayta Qhapaq letters, was the fourth ruler ( Sinchi ) of the Kingdom of Qusqu ( Cuzco ) ( around the year 1290 ). As the son of Lloque Yupanqui, he was his heir and the father of Capac Yupanqui. The name of his wife is given as Mama Tankariy Yachiy. His reign was marked by struggles of his people, the Incas, with the neighboring Allkawisa ( Allcahuiza ) around the city Qusqu.
