Mayu Sakai

Mayu Sakai (Japanese酒井 まゆ, Sakai Mayu; born January 7, 1982 in Fussa, Tokyo Prefecture) is a Japanese manga artist. Their works are assigned to the shōjo genre. Her debut was in 2000 with Primal Orange in Ribon Original.

After graduating Mayu Sakai immediately began to work as a mangaka. Her first work, Primal Orange, won a prize in October 2000. At the time she was 18 years old. Some time later she was hired for Shueisha's Ribon, after she had already worked there as an assistant to Miho Obana. Your first two official manga ( Bokutachi no Tabi, 2001; Nine Puzzle, 2002) were less well known. That changed in 2003 with Nagatacho Strawberry. In 2005 she worked on Peter Pan syndrome, 2006, she appeared so far the most successful manga Rockin 'Heaven. From 2008 to 2011 she worked on the series Momo - Little Devil.
