Mbm
Ombamba (also Bakota, Lembaamba, Mbama, Mbaama, Mbamba and Obamba ) is a Bantu language and is spoken by about 24,800 people in the Republic of Congo and Gabon.
It is in the Republic of Congo in the region Lékoumou in the district with about 15,100 speakers Bambama ( census 2000) and in Gabon in the province of Haut - Ogooué south of Okondja with about 9700 speakers ( census 2004) spread.
In Gabon, about 25 % of second -language speakers Ombamba can read and write.
Classification
Ombamba is a Northwest Bantu language and is part of the Mbere group that is classified as Guthrie Zone B60. 81 % of the vocabulary has in common with the vocabulary of Teke - Tege, 77 % of the Mbere and 66 % with the Teke - Tsaayi.
