Mbete languages
The Mbere languages are a language group within the Guthrie Zone B of the Bantu languages. It is classified as Zone B60 and contains six individual languages that are spoken by a total of approximately 177,500 people in Gabon, the Republic of Congo and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
As for the language:
- Kaningi, about 6000 speakers in Gabon
- Mbere, about 106,000 speakers in the Republic of Congo and Gabon
- Ndumu, about 4300 speakers in Gabon
- Ngul, about 8400 speaker in the Democratic Republic of Congo
- Ombamba, about 24,800 speakers in the Republic of Congo and Gabon
- Yangho, about 5000 speakers in Gabon
