McLeod (Montana)

McLeod is a small town in the middle south of the Sweet Grass County Montana. It is located in the Boulder Valley at an altitude of about 1.462m, north of Yellowstone National Park in the vicinity of Highway 298 and south west of the nearest large town Big Timber. Established in 1882 by the city 's first permanent settlement by WF McLeod, the place lives next to the cattle and horse breeding mainly from the surrounding nature. The area is considered to be sparsely populated.
