MDC Partners is a corporate holding company based in Toronto ( Canada ) and New York City (USA), which holds mainly shares in advertising agencies. It is one of the world's largest groups in the industry, the U.S. subsidiary Crispin Porter Bogusky of the most renowned agencies in the world. Unlike other MDC Holdings industry generally holds majority shares, typically 51%.

MDC Partners has traded the legal form of a limited company ( Incorporated), the stock is both on the U.S. NASDAQ stock exchange as well as on the Toronto Stock Exchange. The group founded in 1980, had 2008 sales of 584.6 million U.S. dollars and a workforce of approximately 5700 employees. Founder, Chairman and CEO of the company, Miles S. Nadal. Customer has MDC predominantly in North America and Latin America and in Europe. The main customers include Sprint Nextel (around 20% of total sales), Burger King, Volkswagen Group of America, AOL, Xerox, and Nestlé Purina PetCare.

Main fields of activity are MDC Strategic Marketing Services ( SMS), Customer Relationship Management ( CRM) and Specialized Communication Services ( SCS). In the SMS, the best-known subsidiary is the agency Crispin Porter Bogusky, based in Miami and Boulder ( Colorado). More shares are held, among others, Allard Johnson, Colle McVoy, Martin Fletcher, HL Group Partners, Kirshenbaum Bond partners, mono Advertising, Redscout, Skinny (NY City ), VitroRobertson, Zig and at the Zyman Group. For the CRM part of the daughter Accent Marketing Services, the area SCS include Accumark Communications, Bruce Mau Design, Bryan Mills Iradesso, Computer Composition, Hello Design, Henderson BAS, Northstar Research Partners, Onbrand, Source Marketing, TargetCom, Veritas Communications and Yamamoto Moss Mackenzie.
