Meet the Press

Meet the Press ( the press english for meetings) is an American political talk show that is broadcast every Sunday morning since 1947 by the NBC television network. It is thus the longest running television series in the history of television. In Germany the format in 1953 as the " International brunch " (today " Press Club" ) was adapted. In Austria, since 1979 there is the mission press hour.

History

Meet the Press goes on the radio show American Mercury Presents: Meet the Press back, which was heard at the Washington station WRC -AM from 1945. On November 6, 1947, the first program was broadcast on television. In the broadcast to make politicians and other public figures to ask a changing group of journalists. Lawrence E.
