Mehmet Aydın

Mehmet Aydın ( born March 20, 1943 at the village Göl, Elazig Province) is a Turkish philosopher, politician and Minister of State.

Life

He graduated from the Faculty of Theology at the University of Ankara. His doctoral thesis (range philosophy) wrote Aydın at the University of Edinburgh, one of the largest and most prestigious universities in the United Kingdom. He then worked at various universities as a member of the teaching staff. In 1978, Aydın lecturer and in 1984 professor. Later he worked at the Theological Faculty of the University of September 9 in İzmir as a lecturer and dean. Until now Aydın published 10 books.

Mehmet Aydın was a member of the Adalet ve Kalkınma Partisi ( AKP) for the province of İzmir in the 22nd legislative period (October 14, 2002 to July 22, 2007 ) of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. In addition, he was Minister of State in the 58th (Cabinet Gul ) and 59 ( I. Erdoğan Cabinet ) Government of the Republic of Turkey.
