Meiji Gakuin University

The Meiji Gakuin University (Japanese明治 学院 大学, Meiji Gakuin daigaku ) was founded in 1863 as a Christian University in Tokyo and Yokohama. Founder and first president was the American Presbyterian priest James Curtis Hepburn. The university buildings are spread over two campuses: Shirokane in Tokyo and Yokohama in Yokohama campus.
