Meinhardt Schomberg, 3rd Duke of Schomberg

Meinhard von Schomberg, 3rd Duke of Schomberg and 1st Duke of Leinster, (* June 30, 1641 in Cologne, . † 5./15 July 1719 in Hillingdon, Middlesex ) was a German -French- British general and military leader.

Meinhard von Schomberg was the second son of Marshal Friedrich von Schomberg. In 1683 he married Caroline Elizabeth, daughter of the Elector Karl Ludwig I. von der Pfalz and Marie Louise Degen field Raugräfin to Palatinate.
