Meiringen air base

Geography

Airfield command ( military airfield )

Education

The community Meiringen leads 3 primary school buildings. The schoolhouse Pfrundmatte in the village center (170 children), the schoolhouse Hausen ( 50 children ) in a suburb, and the schoolhouse sub Bach ( 30 children ) in sub- stream. All classes are taught in multi- annual classes.
