Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre

The Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre ( MSAC ) is the largest and most modern competition site in Australia. It is located in downtown Melbourne's Albert Park (Port Phillip City). In the sports center are two 50m pools, one integrated in the hall and one outdoor, a plant for the water jump, a squash center, table tennis and badminton courts and a basketball court. During the World Swimming Championships in 2007 was the MSAC hosted the water polo tournaments and competitions in the water jump. In 2006, the competitions were held in swimming and water jumping the 2006 Commonwealth Games here.

Since opening in 1997, welcomed the MSAC more than 11 million guests in its halls, among them many Formula 1 fans, since the MSAC is located directly at the Albert Park Circuit.
