Melissa De Sousa

Melissa De Sousa ( born September 25, 1967 in New York City ) is an American actress.

Life and achievements

The ancestors of the actress are from Panama. De Sousa made ​​his debut in an episode of the television show CBS School Break Special from 1992. Was followed by guest appearances in television series and a greater role in the film drama Spark ( 1996). They played an important role also in the comedy Departed (1998).

The role in the comedy The Best Man - Wedding with obstacles (1999 ) on the side of Taye Diggs, Nia Long and Morris Chestnut brought De Sousa in 2000, was nominated for the Image Award. In the comedy Miss Congeniality (2000) with Sandra Bullock in the lead role she portrayed Miss New York.
