Melissa Marie Ortiz Matallana ( born January 24, 1990 in West Palm Beach, Florida ) is a Colombian- American soccer player.

Career

Association

Ortiz played in the 2013 season at the Icelandic second division club KR Reykjavík and contributed with four goals in eleven season inserts for reaching the playoffs for promotion, but they were lost. For the 2014 season, she signed a so-called Discovery player a contract with the NWSL subscriber Boston Breakers, but was released again before the season starts.

National

Ortiz participated with the Colombian U-20 National Team at the U -20 World Cup 2010 in Germany where they came in all five games of Colombia to the use and in the group match against Germany scored a goal. In 2012, she was part of the Colombian banns at the Summer Olympics.
