Mendi Mengjiqi

Mendi Mengjiqi (* 1958 in LUPC i EPERM community Podujevë / Podujevo, Kosovo ) is a Kosovo Albanian composer.

He studied composition at the Academy of Music in Krakow, Poland. Mendi Mengjiqi composed the national anthem of Kosovo: Evropa. The anthem was confirmed on 11 June 2008 as a future national anthem by the Kosovo Parliament with 72 votes in favor, 14 against and 5 abstentions.
