The history

Rudolf Bachmann is a widower with four daughters and for many years worked as a bookkeeper. On his 50th birthday he is called to the company management, where he gets his resignation instead of the expected congratulations. This he admits after some hesitation over his daughters and presents like his Plan B: he wants to set up a transport company. While his older daughters try to talk him out of this idea, he receives from Nesthäkchen Carola support for his enterprise. The good faith Bachmann buys an overpriced old pickup truck, but the business was again disappointed. Finally, he hitched around and buys a van to offer bus tours. This company also seems doomed to fail until it had a wealthy businessman, played by Karl -Heinz Vosgerau, get to know who likes Bachmann's business idea and encourages this.
