Mephisto Waltzes

The Mephisto Waltz are four virtuoso pieces for solo piano by Franz Liszt. Of the four, became the first rose to fame and is played regularly in concert. It was written in the years 1856-1861, and Liszt made ​​later an orchestral version of the piece on. He dedicated the waltz Carl Tausig, his best and favorite piano students (who at an early stage, died at the age of 29 in 1870 ). This first in the series is commonly called simply the " Mephisto Waltz ".

It therefore there is also no ending of Liszt orchestral version of the waltz.
