Meryatum II

Ramses Meriatum (R ˁ ms sw Mry itmw ) was a son of the ancient Egyptian King Ramses III. (reigned about 1187-1156 BC). In a list of Princes in the temple of Medinet Habu, he appears at the seventh position and was therefore probably the seventh son of the ruler. Ramses Meriatum was the high priest of Heliopolis and was in this capacity the title of the show Big ends of Re - Atum Who - mau -en-Re - Atum ( Wr- m3w -n -R - ˁ Jtmw ). Ramses III. named his sons after the sons of Ramses II, who accordingly had a son named Meriatum, which in turn was also high priest of Heliopolis. From his life is otherwise nothing more known. In addition to the Prince list he still appears in the Papyrus Wilbour, an administrative document. There he is called in a lineup that dates to the fourth year of the reign of Ramses V..
