Mesrob I Naroyan of Constantinople

Archbishop Mesrob I. Naroyan (Armenian Մեսրոպ Նարոյան Mesrob Narojan; * 1875 in Hartert in Muş, † May 30, 1944 in Istanbul ), officially Mesrob I. Naroyan of Constantinople Opel, was the 80th Patriarch of Constantinople Armenian Apostolic Opel under the authority of Catholicos of Armenia and of All Armenians.

He was elected in 1927 under the presidency of the first President of Turkey and the country's founder, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk on his position as patriarch. He served in this office for 16 years until his death in Istanbul.
