Messier 29

Messier 29 (also known as NGC 6913 ) is a 6.6 likes bright cluster with an angular extent of 7 ' in the constellation Cygnus. He is 1.7 ° south of the star Sadr ( γ Cyg ) in a very rich star of the Milky Way region and can be seen in binoculars only as a small nebula in the Messier in 1764 only 8 stars recognized.

Because of the swan by pulling star clouds, it is difficult to distinguish between the cluster members of numerous background stars. Accordingly, the former Becvar catalog was only 20 stars to other authors, however, to 300, the distance information provided by various sources range 3700-6000 Lj, after SEDS there are 4000 light years.
