The HK Metalurg Pernik ( Bulgarian ХК Металург Перник ) was the hockey department of the Bulgarian sports club Metalurg Pernik Pernik from which belonged to 2002, the Bulgarian Hockey League. The venue of the HK Metalurg Pernik was the Zimny ​​Stadion Metalurg in Pernik.

History

The club was founded in 1957 as Metalurg Pernik and a year later renamed Lenin Pernik. 1960, the club returned to the original name, before the club in 1969 united with Krakra Pernik. Previously Metalurg had won in 1968 the first national champion.

The team formed by the merger was one of the early 1970s to the dominant clubs in 1970 and again Bulgarian masters. In the 1972/73 season the club played as DFS Pernik.

1973 Metalurg split off from the merged club and then played until 1998 in the Bulgarian Hockey League before 1998 again was followed by a merger with Akademik Sofia. 1999 HK Metalurg Pernik was re-established until 2002 and took part in the game mode.
