The Metropolitan State University of Denver (former name: Metropolitan State College of Denver, and Metro State, Metro and MSCD called ) is a public university in Denver, Colorado. The university was founded in 1965. Currently, about 23,000 students are enrolled. The students can obtain an associate degree and the academic degree of Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in four years of study in a two-year study.
Sports
The sports teams of the MSCD are the Roadrunners. The university is a member of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.
