Mette Halvorsen

Mette Halvorsen ( born January 19, 1965) is a Norwegian curler.

Her international debut had Halvorsen at the Junior European Championships 1983 in Helsingborg, but she remained without a medal. In 1984 she won at the JEM in Edinburgh with her ​​first silver medal precious metal.

Halvorsen played as the lead of the Norwegian team at the XV. Olympic Winter Games in Calgary in 1988 and as second in the XVI. 1992 Winter Olympic Games in Albertville in curling. 1988 won the team of Skip Trine Trulsen in Olympic bronze medal. Four years later, the team of Dordi Nordby won the Olympic silver medal after a 3:9 defeat in the final against Germany by Andrea Schoepp Skip.
