Meuro is a district of the town Bad Schmiedeberg in Wittenberg district in Saxony- Anhalt. Since July 1, 2009 Meuro belongs with the districts Ogkeln, Sack joke and Scholis to Bad Schmiedeberg. The last mayor was Volker Barth.

Geography

The town is located about 20 kilometers southeast of Wittenberg and about 5 kilometers northwest of Bad Schmiedeberg on the northern edge of the Duebener Heath. So is the southern part of the village in the Natural Park Duebener Heath. Through the district Meuro the river Flieth flows.
