The Meynbach (also: Meyn ) is a river in Mecklenburg -Western Pomerania and Brandenburg, which also flows east from the local situation chickens country both south-west towards Old Elde than in the direction Tarnitz.

From the eastern boundary of the municipality Milow the underflow and the banks are reported as Habitat Reserve Meynbach at Krinitz. This has a size of 338 hectares. This is due to deposits of Common freshwater mussel, bitterling, bullhead and otter. Within the protected area, a 12 km long section from 1999 to 2004 was renatured. Weirs were replaced by Sohlgleiten or water structurally bypassed in order to make the storage sites for the aquatic fauna throughout. In addition, slopes were flattened, installed flow diverter and fords restored.

In the summer of 2006, the lower reaches of the Meynbaches fell temporarily dry.
