Mezőtúr
Mezőtúr ( German: Thur ) is a city on a small area within the Mezőtúr Jász -Nagykun -Szolnok in eastern Hungary. In 2011, 17,620 residents living on an area of 289.72 km ². Mezőtúr is the administrative seat of the homonymous small area. Through the city's main road runs 46
Location
Mezőtúr lies to the east of the river Tisza at the branch of Hortobágy - Berettyó. The train station is on the railway line Szolnok - Arad ( MAV No. 120). North of the city branches off the railway line Mezőtúr - Mezőhegyes from ( No. 125). From 1885 until 1975, a railway line was operated by Túrkeve.
