MGM Channel (Canada)

MGM Channel is a Canadian English language Category B Fernsehsehnder headquartered in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The station is operated by Hollywood Suite. The station broadcasts exclusively in HDTV. The station broadcasts mainly various self-produced films from the Metro -Goldwyn -Mayer portfolio and Canadian films. Sends no advertising interruptions during a movie. The transmitter is limited to advertising between films. In addition to MGM Channel also other sister stations were operating. Among Hollywood Festival, Hollywood Storm and Warner film.

History

On July 2, 2010 Hollywood Suite received a total of four category -2 television licenses by the Canadian Radio -television and Telecommunications Commission ( CRTC ). The station began broadcasting operation after several delays, on 23 November 2011.

Receptivity

The transmitter is nationally broadcast via various cable operators as BellTV, Eastlink, SaskTel, MTS, optic TV and IPTV.
