Miami Medical

Miami Medical (working title: Miami Trauma ) is an American drama series by Jeffrey Lieber. It was produced by Warner Bros. Television in association with Jerry Bruckheimer Television. As Executive Producer Jerry Bruckheimer served while Iain Paterson and Christina M. Kim were involved as producers. For the music Trevor Morris was responsible. She started 2 April 2010 on the U.S. television network CBS.

In May 2010, CBS relented only seven episodes broadcast that series known.

Action

The series deals with the hospital team of Miami Medical Hospital, one of only three designated trauma centers in the United States. They catered specifically to cases in which loss of life. The doctors are under particular pressure because they usually only have about an hour, the so-called Golden Hour in order to stabilize the patient's condition before the injury affect the whole body. This could mean that even not really fail organs affected.

Production

After it was announced in April 2008 that the hospital drama ER - The emergency room will be finished in May 2009, CBS had the season from 2009 to 2010, a new hospital drama in development. In February 2009, CBS announced the production of a pilot episode. Beginning of March 2009 came the first Lana Parrilla, Jeremy Northam and Briton Richard Coyle to fill. End of March, Elisabeth Harnois and Aimee Garcia were then cast.

16 May 2009 CBS Miami ordered trauma as series and ordered 13 episodes for the time being. Shortly after ordering some Recasts were announced. So Richard Coyle was replaced by Mike Vogel. In mid-December 2009, then the series title from Miami Trauma modified on Miami Medical.

Instrumentation and synchronization

The German synchronization was created by a synchronous book and the dialogue directed by Hans -Jürgen Wolf by the synchronous Company EuroSync GmbH in Berlin.

Broadcast

After the series had been appointed in May 2009, CBS announced a start date for the so-called midseason. In December of the same year April 2, 2011 was named as the start date. There, the series was shown on Fridays until 2 July 2011. On average, the 13 episodes watched about seven million viewers, of which 1.83 million from the target demographic of 18 - to 49 -year-olds.

In Germany, ProSiebenSat.1 Media acquired the rights to the series backed up and decided they broadcast on sixx. There, the broadcast of the short-lived series began on 29 July and ended on 21 October 2011. Pursued in Germany on average 70,000 viewers ( 0.6 percent) of the target demographic audience and 90,000 ( 0.3 percent ) of the total audience, the short-lived series.
