Michael Addison, 3rd Viscount Addison

Michael Addison, 3rd Viscount Addison ( * April 12, 1914, † March 23, 1992 ) was a British civil servant and academic.

Addison was the second son of Christopher Addison, 1st Viscount Addison. In 1976 he became Baron Addison, of Stallingborough in the County of Lincoln, and 4th Viscount Addison of Stallingborough in the County of Lincoln. He studied at Balliol College, Oxford.

He was from 1936 to 1965 in the civil service. During the Second World War, he was from 1941 to 1945 an Intelligence Officer and a Flying Officer in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve. He was the 1965 and 1976 senior lecturer at the School of Management Studies at the Polytechnic of Central London in London. He inherited upon the death of his brother Christopher Addison, 2nd Viscount Addison, who died without male issue in 1976, the Viscount title, and thus became a member of the House of Lords.

Lord Addison married on August 22, 1936 Kathleen Wall, a daughter of the Right Reverend William Wall, with whom he had the following children:
