Michael Cera
Michael Austin Cera ( born June 7, 1988 in Brampton, Ontario, Michael Cera ) is a Canadian actor.
Life and work
His mother, Linda, is from Montreal. The father Luigi is from Sicily and works as a technician at Xerox. Cera has an older sister named Jordan and a younger named Molly. In his hometown, he attended Heart Lake Secondary School. With eight or nine years he was discovered for magazines. His first, but unpaid role was an advertisement for the summer camp of Tim Hortons. Cera lives in Brampton when it is not just for shooting in Los Angeles.
He went so far in over thirty roles in various television series and films, including in the family film An unbeatable Double (1999) with Mary -Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen and the sci -fi movie Frequency ( 2000) with Dennis Quaid. In the dramatic spy series Nikita with Peta Wilson and Roy Dupuis Cera played in 2000 in the episode 4.10 The boy of section four (He Came from Four) the guest role of Jerome. He also had a supporting role in the film Confessions - Confessions of a Dangerous Mind (2002) directed by and starring George Clooney. At fourteen, he turned the pilot episodes for the comedy series Arrested Development and embodied in 2003-2006 in 53 episodes George -Michael Bluth. In May 2013, the series returned in video -on- demand provider Netflix for 15 new episodes in which he takes up his role again.
In 2002, Cera was nominated for the TV drama My Louisiana Sky for a Young Artist Award. The Screen Actors Guild Awards in 2005 and 2006, he was in the category Best Acting Ensemble - Comedy nominated respectively for the Arrested Development series. In the Internet comedy series Clark and Michael ( 2006), he participated as actor, director, screenwriter, producer and editor.
2007 succeeded Cera breakthrough with his roles in the comedy films Superbad and Juno.
