Michael Geist

Michael Geist ( b. 1968 ) is a Canadian legal scholar, author and blogger.

The professor of e-commerce and Internet law at the University of Ottawa is a columnist for various newspapers, among others the Vancouver Sun, the Toronto Star and the Ottawa Citizen. Michael Geist is a critic of the Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement ( ACTA).
