Michaël Goossens

Michaël " Mika" Henri Goossens ( born November 30, 1973 in Seraing ) is a retired Belgian footballer.

Goossens played in the youth for the Tilleur FC and RFC Seraing. From 1990 to December 1996, he played for Standard Liege. In January 1997, he moved to Genoa in 1893. After only one season, he moved to FC Schalke 04, where he stayed for three years and then moved back to Standard Liege. In 2003 he moved to Grazer AK. After a year there he moved to VV St. Truiden. In the 2005/06 season he played for KAS Eupen. For the season 2006/ 07 he moved to RUS Bercheux. After the season, he finished his career.

Goossens played his first game for the Belgian national football team during the game against Cyprus on 13 February 1993. Played until 2001 " Mika" a total of 14 times for the national team, scoring a goal against the German national soccer team.

With Régis Genaux and Philippe Léonard he formed the Three Musketeers from Standard Liege. Roberto Bisconti also belonged to these comrades.
