Michael Green (field hockey)

Michael Green ( born May 5, 1972 in Braunschweig ) is a former German hockey player.

He played at Harvestehuder THC and was founded in 1993 in Terrassa Junior World Champion. From 1993 to 2006 he was a member of the German national team as a defender. Green completed a total of 320 matches (308 field, 12 Halle ). He participated in the Olympic Games Atlanta 1996 and Sydney 2000 and in 2002 in Kuala Lumpur World Champion. He was awarded the World Hockey player of 2002.

Michael Green is working as a doctor and lives in Hamburg. Since 2010 he has been Vice President Sport in the German Hockey Association.
