Michael Klukowski (2011)

Michael " Mike" Klukowski (born 27 May 1981 in Amstetten, Austria ) is a Canadian soccer player who also has Polish citizenship.

Club career

Klukowski came in the 1998/99 season to the French third division club Dijon FCO, remained there but without using and arrived on the amateur club Tourcoing FC in the second team Lille OSC. In 2002, the Belgian first division Klukowski RAA La Louviere. In his first season he reached with La Louviere the Belgian Cup final, where they defeated VV St. Truiden 3-1 and won the first national title in the club's history. Together with his teammates Manasseh Ishiaku he moved in January 2005 to league rivals Club Brugge. In Bruges he came in his first six months in the last games of the season to use and has been involved in Bruges title win with six inserts.

From the season 2005/ 06 the left-back is established in Bruges defense composite and won in 2007 against Standard Liege for the second time the Belgian Cup competition.

For the season 2010/11 he moved to MKE Ankaragucu and signed a three-year contract. The contract was resolved but after a year and he transferred to Manisaspor. In 2012, he joined the Cypriot top club APOEL Nicosia.

National

Klukowski belonged at the 2001 Junior World Championships in Argentina to the Canadian squad and came at Vorrundenaus in all three games available for use. In 2003, he was in a friendly match against Libya his international debut in the Canadian national team. By 2007, he came predominantly in friendlies in Europe for use, since 2008 he is also in competitive games in America in the squad. In July 2009, he participated with the Canadian team at the CONCACAF Gold Cup.
