Michael Lark

Michael Lark is an American comic book artist.

Life and work

Lark, who began working as a professional cartoonist in the early 1990s, has operated in the past primarily as an artist for the two leading U.S. comic publishers DC Comics and Marvel Comics.

His work includes, among other signatories Jobs for such well-known series such as the Super Hero Comic Batman, the comic book Gotham Central Criminal (# 1-10, 12-15, 19-25 ) and the sci-fi saga Legend of the Hawkman (# 1 - 3) for DC Comics or for the Marvel series Daredevil, Captain America and the Pulse. Designed for DC's Vertigo imprint Lark comics such as Terminal City (# 1-9), Terminal City: Aerial Graffiti (# 1-5), Books of Magic, Scene of Crime (# 1-4), Shade: The Changing Man ( # 58) and Sandman Mystery Theatre ( # 57-60 ).

Among the authors with whom Lark, who has been honored for his work among others, the Eisner Award and the Harvey Award, has often worked in the past, include Ed Brubaker and Greg Rucka.

Work, the Lark has presented for smaller publishers who are Caliber Presents (# 19-22), Caliber Summer Special # 1, Airwaves (# 1-5) and Taken Under: Compendium # 1 for Caliber Comics.
