Michael Liebel, Jr.

Michael Liebel junior ( born December 12, 1870 in Erie, Pennsylvania; † August 8, 1927 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania ) was an American politician.

Liebel visited the Canisius College in Buffalo, New York, and then worked for five at the New York, Chicago & St. Louis Railroad in Buffalo. Liebel now returned to Erie and was in the hardware store worked. 1906 to 1911 he was mayor of Erie. Liebel, who was from 1908 to 1924 with the exception of 1922 each delegate at the age of four held Democratic National Convention, was elected for his party in the 64th Congress and represented there on 4 March 1915 to March 3, 1917 in the state of Pennsylvania U.S. House of Representatives. In 1916, he did not stand for reelection available. After retiring from politics returned to his former occupation. Liebel died in 1927 in Philadelphia and was buried in the Trinity Cemetery in Erie.
