Michael McManus (Canadian actor)

Michael McManus ( born April 14, 1962 in London, Ontario) is a Canadian actor.

Career

Michael McManus was born on 14 April 1962 in London in the Canadian province of Ontario. He studied acting at the University of Alberta, he could successfully complete in 1986. In the next few years he characterized some supporting roles in Canadian television series and movies before the first time in 1990 starred in Atom Egoyan's Speaking Parts assumed, for which he was nominated for a 1990 Genie Award. In 1992, he graduated in the Canadian television series Forever Knight - The Vampircop a guest appearance as a priest.

He gained worldwide recognition in 1996 for his role as an undead former assassin in the television series Lexx - The Dark Zone. He took over the role of the Undead Kai both in the four films as well as in the three seasons of the series. Michael McManus has worked as a theater actor, also for several years.
