Michael Nutter

Michael Anthony " Mike" Nutter ( born June 29, 1957 in Cobbs Creek, Philadelphia ) is the 98th and current Mayor of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States. He was elected on November 6, 2007 as the successor of John Street, and sworn in on January 7, 2008 at the office. He is a member of the Democrats. Prior to his election as mayor, he was from 1992 to 2006 Member of the City Council of Philadelphia.
