Michael Spindler

Michael H. Spindler ( born December 22, 1942 in Berlin ) is a German manager.

Spindler studied electrical engineering. In the 70 years he headed the European marketing departments of DEC and Intel. In 1980 he moved to Apple, where he was initially responsible for the pan-European and later responsible for the worldwide marketing. In June 1993, he was the successor of the previous Chief Executive Officer John Sculley. He was replaced in 1996 by Gil Amelio.
